Curly Junkie's goal is to provide information in a digestible and fun way about hair care, and teach her audience to adapt the Curly Method to each hair.
Curly Junkie's moodboard is a lively mix of flowing illustrations and striking typography. Our goal was to showcase how 'curls' can be creatively woven into logos, aiming to capture a similar vibe while staying true to the brand owner's unique personality.
For the logo development we chose the typeface Hore because it is bold and playful, it goes in sync with what Curly Junkie wants to convey, we come to learn and have fun. A white outline is created around it, simulating a sticker with the aim of better delineating the logo area and giving it more presence.
The brand's pattern was hand-drawn, featuring various elements that help keep your curls healthy. You'll also notice a variety of hair doodles, celebrating the fact that the curly method is for everyone, whether your hair is coily or straight.
Curly Junkieās leaping into her next big adventureātaking her 5+ years of curl wisdom and dialing up the fun! Think vibrant coaching sessions, a smarty-pants curly questionnaire, and a website bursting with her signature playful energy. Scary? Heck yes. Exciting? Double yes! But growth loves a little chaos.
